In Spring 2017 a nightmare on fashion street came into play with the debute of male rompers called "RompHim". This one piece clothing is typically seen worn by women and resembles an onesie. "This is a trend!" I thought as basketball shorts may be traded with rompers. Let that booty clap in the wind on the basketball court gentlemen, or DON'T.
This trend ensued in jokes and became topic of conversation. The ruckus has ceased but with 2018 approaching it seems like a trend that's better left behind. Curiosity brought on questions like would you ever date a guy wearing a romper? And is he deemed less masculine when seen wearing one? Here's what I found on this revolution in menswear.
"I would try to give him the benefit of the doubt if he was nice" -Female, 24
"Perfect for men of the immature type, he can act and dress like a toddler" -Female, 33
"You couldn't pay me to wear that s***" -Male, 36
"God no! I don't even like them on women, lol. I don't need my man looking like a giant baby" -Female, 29
"That's a negative" -Female, 29
"I had to look up what a male romper even was, now I can't get that time back" -Male 62
